This black tea, from the province of Anhui, gives a clear and light, but fairly full-bodied infusion. With a very fruity, subtly woody flavour, fine palates will be able to find a vanilla scent.
Unlike its cousins, Ceylon or Darjeeling black tea, it is relatively mild due to its low theine content. For the record, this is the tea we drink for the Queen's birthday at Buckingham Palace!
Recommended brewing time: 3 to 4 minutes.
Recommended infusion temperature: 100°.
