This unrefined tea is the result of a special process. Before harvesting, the leaves are shaded for several weeks in order to release their flavour and stimulate the production of chlorophyll and amino acids. The Tencha leaves are then ground to obtain Japanese green tea. It can be enjoyed throughout the day, except in the evening as it is energizing. Superior Matcha green tea is obtained from the best tea plants in Japan and according to the original Japanese tradition. Only top quality leaves are used.

Recommended infusion temperature: 70-80°C
