This organic Tamaryokucha is grown and produced on the island of Kyushu in Miyazaki Prefecture. The name of this variety, which is only produced in relatively small quantities, clearly expresses its quality: Tama = gem / jewel | Ryoku = green | Cha = tea.
Compared to the production of Sencha, Tamaryokucha retains its original appearance during the production process and is slightly reminiscent of "Chun Mee" due to its slightly rough and curved green leaf.
It has a herbaceous and fruity fragrance. It offers a cup with notes of lime as well as hazelnut flavours.
Also to be tried by inexperienced green tea lovers!
