As for the quantity of tea or infusion, On average, we recommend 2-3 heaped spoonfuls (around 10 to 15 grams) per litre of cold tea you wish to make...

Then simply steep the tea in cold water overnight (6 to 8 hours).
The longer you leave the tea to brew, the more intense the flavour! However, be careful with cold tea made from tea rather than an infusion: if the tea is brewed too long, the final drink may taste less bitter...

The easiest way to do this is to brew the cold tea directly in the fridge. This way, once the brewing time has elapsed, the drink is ready to enjoy at a refreshing temperature.

Once the infusion is complete, remove the tea bag (or filter loose tea). And that's it, it's ready! All that's left is to sweeten to taste...

To sweeten tea, we recommend brown sugar, cane sugar syrup or impalpable sugar melted in water. This way, the sugar is distributed evenly and creamily.

Once you've made your homemade cold tea, we recommend that you keep it for a maximum of 3 days, in the fridge of course!

To enhance your homemade cold tea:

Cut up a few pieces or zests of fruit to give an even more fun taste and visual effect! For example, an English Breakfast Classic with pieces of fresh fruit makes a surprising and delicious homemade cold tea.

- A little lemon juice or sugar will enhance the flavour of the tea, giving the drink an even more pronounced aroma.

- You can also add aromatic herbs like mint or basil, spices like vanilla, cinnamon, cloves or cardamom, or even flower petals. Give your creativity free rein for bold, gourmet results that are sure to cause a sensation!

Our little tips...

- If you add ice cubes, remember that this will dilute the cold tea, so remember to add more tea or leave it to brew for longer... or else, eIf you make ice cubes directly from the cold tea you've made, you'll avoid diluting it the next time you drink it!

- Brewing tea directly in an airtight Thermos flask means you can take your cold home-made tea with you to make sure you have a good day out...
